for sale to individuals as "Transferable" items in compliance
with the National Firearms Act. Individuals may only purchase
"transferable" machineguns - that is - machineguns manufactured prior to
May of 1986. Prices of transferable weapons are
considerably higher than Police Department prices. Individuals, please
check our "firearms for sale" page for prices of
transferable machineguns that are in stock. As a point of reference,
currently, a
transferable MP5 submachine gun that a civilian can own costs
approximately $12,000.00. |
